2014 Jeep Cherokee: Uniquely Styled and Supremely Fuel Efficient

With its incredibly unique and now updated style, the reintroduction of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee to the Jeep new model lineup has been generating a ton of buzz both online and locally around our Mankato, MN dealership.

The excellent new front-wheel drive SUV model will now feature Chrysler's acclaimed 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine which earns around 31 miles per gallon on the highway by Environmental Protection Agency. The impressive fuel mileage, over 30 miles per gallon highway for a full-size SUV model, is exactly what Jeep brand proclaimed they would achieve with this model at the New York Auto Show earlier this year.

The auto brand's intention with this focus on efficiency is to help attract a wider variety of consumers to its customer base with this newly stylized Cherokee. The last time the Cherokee was newly available on the market it was rated at 22 miles per gallon on the highway.

Jeep brand has made all of the model's trim level fuel economy ratings public now, and with the exception of the Trailhawk model which was built for off-road prowess instead of effiency. The four-wheel drive version of the Cherokee comes with a four-cylinder engine and gains 28 miles per gallon on the highway. The V-6 four-wheel drive model achieves 27 miles per gallon highway.
